Election Commission today recommended to the President the disqualification of 20 AAP MLAs for holding office of profit. This comes as major embarrassment for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Once the President approves the recommendation, there will be by-elections for the 20 assembly seats. At present AAP has a majority in the 70-member Delhi assembly with 65 seats.
As usual AAP members have started blaming the Election commission and PM Modi for this move.
This is how Twitter reacted to the news of disqualification of 20 AAP MLAs for holding office of profit.

EC should send disqualification notice of 20 AAP MLAs in Hindi too before Ashutosh says he can't read English and therefore disqualifaction is not valid 😀 #AAPOfficeOfProfit
